Dunking Dyslexia helps with reading, writing, spelling, pronunciation, and speech forthose with learning challenges, on the autism spectrum, in speech classes and in ELDclasses. It’s combining music with spelling, music played in the left ear and spelling inthe right ear. The spelling words progress in difficulty per lesson starting with 3 letterwords, to 4 letter words. Then advancing to 2 syllable words and then and two wordsthat typically go together. Sentences follow with progression of difficulty as wellcorresponding to phonics lessons in the Step By Step Reading program. This is a multi sensory approach to teaching and learning phonics using music and isbased on neuroscience of the relationship of music to learning.
